Product Details
An environmentally friendly trivalent chromium-based blue‑white passivation agent, widely used in the automotive, toy, and electronics industries. The undiluted formulation is free of hexavalent chromium and, following water‑boiling tests, complies with the IEC 62321 standard.
Employing innovative materials and processes, it breaks free from the limitations of conventional trivalent chromium blue‑white zinc plating. Acid zinc barrel plating achieves a NSS test duration of over 96 hours, while cyanide‑free alkaline zinc rack plating passes the NSS test for up to 300 hours.
It offers a broad operating range, with a wide pH tolerance; it can be used from low to ambient temperatures. The blue‑white color is uniform and aesthetically pleasing, and it resists yellowing even after prolonged storage.
The passivation process features slow zinc dissolution, enabling even thin coatings to achieve excellent corrosion resistance. It exhibits high tolerance to impurities in the bath and a long renewal cycle, making it suitable for various types of zinc coatings—both barrel and rack plating—and compatible with both automated and manual lines, particularly well-suited for automated rack‑plating lines.
