Electro-galvanizing additive
Eco-friendly alkaline zinc plating additive
A cyanide-free advanced technology addresses the brittleness issue in high-brightness coatings caused by excessive thickness, with a two-component additive system that separately controls dispersing power and brightness.
With excellent dispersing power, the coating thickness ratio between the high-current zone (4 A/dm²) and the low-current zone (0.2 A/dm²) is 1.2–1.5, reducing zinc consumption.
The coating achieves a mirror‑like finish comparable to bright acidic zinc; blue‑white passivation remains free of yellowing. For barrel plating, a 20 µm‑thick coating can be bent arbitrarily, and after 2 hours of baking at 200°C followed by rapid cooling, no blistering occurs.
The passivation film exhibits superior adhesion compared to acid zinc, with outstanding high‑temperature resistance—products can still be produced normally even in a 40°C plating bath. Its deep‑plating capability surpasses both cyanide‑free zinc and acid zinc, while offering a broad operating window and strong resistance to impurities. The bath can be prepared using ordinary caustic soda and tap water, and the additives are stable. It is suitable for both barrel and rack plating, easy to maintain, non‑toxic, and straightforward to treat as wastewater.
Potassium chloride zinc plating additive
It was the first to apply aldehyde sulfonation—a water‑soluble, carrier‑free technology—to chloride‑based zinc plating, overcoming the poor thermal stability of conventional aldehyde systems and the inadequate deep‑plating capability and excessive decomposition byproducts of benzalacetone‑based systems, achieving overall performance at an internationally leading level.
Its deep‑plating capability surpasses that of cyanide‑based zinc plating, making it particularly well suited for workpieces with deep holes or recessed areas; it is compatible with both rack plating and barrel plating.
In low‑current regions, it delivers excellent brightness, reaching a mirror‑like finish; zinc deposition is rapid, with fast brightening, and it exhibits superior leveling, producing a clear, vibrant coating.
The deposit is soft and has low brittleness, ideal for post‑plating secondary operations. The plating bath is highly heat‑resistant, with an operating temperature range of 16–65°C and a cloud point exceeding 100°C.
Additives are stable, generating minimal decomposition products, ensuring long‑term clarity and transparency of the bath. The brightener concentration is high while consumption is low—only one‑quarter to one‑third of that required in traditional processes. It offers superior salt resistance, expands the high‑current density range, and is compatible with potassium, ammonium, and sodium salts. Tank changes are straightforward, with low foaming and low COD, meeting wastewater discharge standards. Moreover, it provides excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for automotive components, precision hardware, and other applications.
