It was the first to apply aldehyde sulfonation—a water‑soluble, carrier‑free technology—to chloride‑based zinc plating, thereby overcoming the drawbacks of conventional aldehyde systems, which suffer from poor thermal stability, and of the benzalacetone system, which exhibits limited deep‑plating capability and generates numerous decomposition byproducts. The resulting overall performance has reached an internationally leading level.
Its deep‑plating capability surpasses that of cyanide zinc plating, making it particularly well suited for workpieces with deep holes and recessed areas; both rack plating and barrel plating are applicable.
In the low‑current region, it delivers excellent brightness, achieving a mirror‑like finish; zinc deposition is rapid, with fast brightening, and it exhibits superior leveling, yielding a clear, vibrant coating.
The coating is soft and exhibits low brittleness, making it suitable for workpieces undergoing secondary processing after plating. The plating bath is highly heat‑resistant, with an operating temperature range of 16–65°C and a cloud point exceeding 100°C.
The additive is stable, with minimal decomposition products, ensuring long-term clarity and transparency of the plating bath. The brightener exhibits high concentration and low consumption—only 1/4 to 1/3 of that required by conventional processes—while offering excellent salt resistance and an expanded high‑current density range. It is compatible with potassium, ammonium, and sodium salts, facilitates easy tank turnover, generates low foam and low COD, and meets wastewater discharge standards. With outstanding corrosion resistance, it is ideally suited for automotive components, precision hardware parts, and similar applications.
