Galvanizing is currently a widely used electroplating method for corrosion protection of steel components in industry. It is extensively applied worldwide, accounting for approximately one-third of the total surface area of all electroplated parts. Easy to manufacture and low in cost, it has been widely adopted.
An intermediate is a chemical that, once formulated into an electroplating additive, is added and replenished during the electroplating process. Intermediates are categorized into alkaline zinc intermediates and acidic zinc intermediates; in this installment, we will first introduce the alkaline zinc‑plating intermediate.
The following is our company’s latest zinc‑galvanizing additive: an alkaline zinc intermediate.
